Re: us oil to china will continue?

The us soy oil to China becomes a bit of a shell game.  The Chinese in Argentines are having a trade dispute.  The Chinese throw up an artificial trade restriction to stop Argy soyoil imports.  The folks who have oil sold to the Chinese run to Brazil to get the oil.  They price in Brazil starts rising so they come to the US.   In the meantime the price of Argy oil drops and they start doing export business that Brazil and the US normally do.   The net demand doesnt change.

agree that demand does not change but source YES, soy in US will go higher during this trade dispute, at least in cash markets
