Re: maybe not

Ray in the feedlot southwest...... You might be a little behind the times....

Elevators are at 4 cents per bushel per month.  Storage starts the day the truck crosses the scales...

One will wave storage if it is sold within the first week or two.  But if it is not sold within the stated number of days, storage reverts to the date of delivery.

Nearly impossible to not pay storage if the field has a rain delay or an absentee owner.

Re: maybe not

It is not uncommon for elevators to require it to be sold across the scales unless a contract...  especially if there is a ground pile involved... and not necessarily does the elevator have to be full.
