Just informed today one of the 2008 farm bill safety nets will not be their for 2012. Would not be suprised if the government cooks the final yield No's for 2012 in a disastor and welch on any ACRE triggers as well.
The government's involvement in the crop insurance industry was supposed to take the place of any other disaster type program. Then in 2008, they come out with the ACRE and the SURE programs.....If they are gone, I say good riddence.
