I have just installed an Ag Leader Edge Yield Monitor on my combine and want to use a Garmin 18x-5Hz GPS antenna that I have sitting around unused. I am going to have to wire up a 9-pin serial connector onto the Garmin, but that is no big deal since Garmin provides a good wiring diagram on their website for me to know each wires job. What I do not have is a diagram of Ag Leader's Display Cable wiring.
I think that Pin #4 is power, Pin #3 is GPS signal, and Pin #5 (and maybe also #6) is ground. Does anybody have any confirmation on if this is correct or not? I have a feeler out to the dealer, but thought I would check here as well.

Just for future reference if anyone is looking for the same answer, Pin #4 is power but is battery voltage coming from the Ag Leader side. The Garmin 18x-5Hz requires 5 volts DC. My 18x-5Hz unit came wired with a step-down transformer that took care of the voltage, but I found several inexpensive 12V-to-5V transformers online (apparently Ford used 5V to power the stereo amps in some of their cars)
The other pin connections are correct with Pin #3 receiving the GPS signal from the Garmin and Pin #5 providing system ground.
