Precision tech

We are finally getting to a point where we can start looking at Precision Technolgy on our farm. Starting out with GPS for sprayer, next step would be variable rate fertilizer and seeding, then also looking at yield monitors. I would like to stick with one company and not have 15 different setups.

Any Company that has an overall grasp on things, or is using several companies the way to go to get the best package?

Re: Precision tech

If you want to keep it simple and under one umbrella, Deere is probably still the easiest, but they are not giving their dealers the support they deserve either....instead they are using the dealers to try and cope with ever changing technology, passing the cost on to the farmers.

Re: Precision tech

My gut feeling is look into Trimble or perhaps Ag Leader.  I don't think you can marry this stuff forever.  I bet we do a lot of chanfing and shifting before it all sorts out.

I think im going to ag leader, they seem to have the best support and be the most universal.
