Re: Trimble satellite cable.
You want to cut the cable, feed it into the cab via the roof and then put a new co-ax end on it? That's what I understand from your post. I bought an EZ Guide last year and just fed the cable under the roof (roof opens up like a hood on a car - it's a Ford) into the cab and attached it to the unit. Was planning on cutting it later but never did. Then had a branch smack the receiver off the roof breaking the co-ax connector off so I had to put a new end on. I went to our local Radio Shack and got the proper end and crimped it on. Not much different than putting co-ax ends on in a house for the TV - I have the tool for that. You can kind of butcher it up with a regular set of pliers but it will crimp good enough and work.
