auto steer ?
i have an older 4650 JD i plant and do fall amonia with and wonder which is better system for the auto steer system . I do not want the flip up motor for the steering wheel but the one in which u replace the whole steering wheel. Is trimble, or agleader a better system. they both seem to cost about the same , just be used for planting and fall ammonia and then maybe some tillage .any suggestions good or bad thanks in advance.

Re: auto steer ?
I have the Ag Leader autosteer system and like it. I don't have any experience with the Trimble. I suspect they are similary. They used to work closely together.
One way to look at it might be to investigate and see which has the closest, best support. Over the years, it has meant a lot to me to have good, local support. I haven't had bad problems, but any problem when one wantw to be in the field is an aggravation.

Re: auto steer ?
thanks jim , i also want good support and the first agleader dealer told me he was very hard to get ahold of, kind of sent up a red flag. Then i talked to trimble who i also have previously worked with on planter equip but them his man quit and no new one has called me back , Just talked to another agleader who i previously knew and he seems very interested and and been with his dealer for over five years and is available for support and i will most likely work with him . thanks again jim meade and good luck on harvest.
