Brian update

Well my friends.  I have definitely been remembering Brian's surgery & all your support 8 years ago.  Today another surgery @ Northwestern in Chicago today & another tumor.  Actually very surprised-no symptoms.  We got here @ 5:30 a.m. surgery scheduled 7:30.  However he got bumped & did not get in until 1:55.  In recovery now, 6:15.  Long day.  Won't know treatment for another couple weeks.  Will be here probably 2 days.  Surgeon pleased so hope they got it all.

Dr was in & said they took small tumor, blood clot & scar tissue.  Oncologist will discuss treatment.  Doing full spinal MRI to check.  Hope/pray clear.  Hopefully home tomorrow.  Cannot wait to hit holiday traffic.  Brian  Doing well but wants to go home.  Keep those prayers coming TYIA

Linda, all hopes for Brian's fast tecivery. It is amazing to think someone can have brain surgery and be coming home so quickly.

I am sure by the time you go back, they will have full pathology reports, and a care plan prepared. You know the drill. Hope you have had some luck finding assistance with your Mom.
