First Date

Going to a play on my first date since the divorce.   Met this guy at a singles dance a few months ago...we hit it off right away...and yes, guess what he does for a living.... Farm...except he is trying to sell the building site and is ready to do something else for the last years before retirement.  He also trucks livestock whenever this trucking outfit needs another driver to fill in.

We did meet once at the movies when a dance was cancelled because of weather and then went out for pie afterwards.

But I call this our first date because he is going to pick me up....weird weird weird....seems like Im back in high school!  LOL

Its a whole other ball game tho, as we both have grown children  and are not as ignorant as we were when we were teenagers.

Dang, suppose this means that I may have to shave my legs this winter.

Re: First Date

I am so glad to hear that you are getting out and enjoying things. Dating in middle age is definitely different as i recall in 99-01 when Ed and i were dating. We had so much fun and had such an appreciation for the wonderful times we had. We often reminisce about the places we went and the things we did. Have a great time!

Re: First Date

You so deserve to find some happiness!  I would think it would actually be easier to develop a relationship with an adult rather than the hormonal stress of teens.  Hope you have a great time!
