Heifer Showing, Insurance and Alfalfa

My husband is suffering from alfalfa man syndrome, a disease that weakens our bank account!  I think he has it sprayed every month.  He and the boys are gone heifer showing, I'll join them in the morning.  I've been paying bills.....did I ever tell you that I DESPISE farm bureau?  They waste lots of paper.  Good news here.....on Wednesday night we rec'd 5....yes five inches of rain!  Our ponds are full for the first time in 2-3 years.  It is a blessing!  Makes Jerry's alfalfa grow too!!

A perfect stand of alfalfa is addictive. I miss having it to enjoy, it is such an attractive forage.

Glad you got that pond filler. I have been worried about you folks dealing with protracted drought.

We just got 5" and everything is flooded in our area so I hope the 5" you talk about goes somewhere else or waits for our dry summer months!

Hopefully our alfalfa didn't get frosted off the other night.  warmish days and cool night.  lots of rain though.  well pit is running over.
