Shelby sue age 5 that recently witnessed her kitty being buried in the back yard and her great grandmother being buried in the cemetary.

That seems like an unusual comment to me for a child that age. I would have reacted with how much you love her and there is so much here for you etc. I would watch for issues as she gets older. ( I hope my comments are an over reaction.)

Very thoughtful little girl. Of course the kitties demise and my mother's demise caused questions to arise. Questions about herself her mommie and papa and nana, One answer leads to another question. Very inquisitive and extremely observant. Wants to be involve in whatever someone else is doing.

Yes she is very loved and knows all about love. A new little baby brother is not lacking attention either, If she don't stop kissing him her kisser is gonna wear out.

Children her age may or may not fully conmprehend the permanency of a passing.  That has nothing to do with how bright they are, it is a developmental step, like learning to walk or talk. 

It is normal for a loving and well-loved child to want to go where their Mommie goes.
