We were never able to beat the birds to cherries, and even strawberries some years. They will peck them the day before we are ready to pick them.
We have thus decided that is it easier to just buy what we want to eat at Sam's. Mike made his own cherry cobbler today, since I was on the road for eleven hours.
Will have to see if it is better than the one I baked last week. Maybe I should have kept my recipe to myself...he may not need me anymore!
