Sorry of the delayed hugs...but, that IV is a necessary evil. Winn got by with a single injection in the hospital, for their concerns over his time in utero without fluid, due to long labor. Sounds like Parker had a longer wait to arrive.
Daughter called a few minutes ago, to say the pediatrician had phoned and asked her to come in at eight tomorrow morning for his weight check, instead of the nine o'clock appointment they were given last week. He offered to see them today (Sunday), if that was too early for them to get there.
She asked to wait until timorrow, so SIL can come, too. He is on daylight shift today. Doc wanted them to avoid the barrage of sick kids that shows up at opening on Monday mornings.
I had worried about that, too, so was glad to see he acted proactively to avoid that contact. I guess we farmers know enough about biosecurity to wonder/worry about such things.
Thanks for the reminder about the toy tractor. I want to wrap up something to put into this kid's Radio Flyer on Christmas morning...need to stop by the CASE place this week.
