Odd piece of mail
Today, I received a post card to current resident. It is the length of a standard legal envelope. It has a smiley sun in the sand with a vew star fish and flipflops in the picture. Other side is all sand, and BLANK. Came from Shreveport, LA. I assume it is a promo for vacations. Surely, someone failed to make sure that it told what they were advertising? No phone number or website. Weird.

Re: Odd piece of mail
Then again, a picture is worth a thousand words...you noticed it way more without writing and it stuck in your mind. If someone ever says "Shreveport" to you, you will probably think of that sand and those flipflops....

Re: Odd piece of mail
Sounds like the mail printing company forgot to finish it before sending out to the mail processing plant is my guess. Does it say anything in the box where the stamp usually is? That may give you some info. Then again, maybe that was the point of the advertiser to make you remember something that was odd.
