When the laptop started smoking about a month ago, I had to shut it down and make a decision about a replacement. Youngest daughter has always been a Mac fan, given her training in graphic design. She went iPhone this time and I went DROID for cells phones.
Instead of yet another laptop, I decided to try an iPad, which arrived by FedEx yesterday. Was on the road a lot today, so am just getting to try it out a bit. It is fascinating. So far, I have FB and iTunes all working, and have downloaded one song to try that out. Have one glitch in outgoing email, but will have to get Apple to help Ito that out later this week.
So far, this is a lot of fun. I will try new tricks here as I learn them.
