Re: Sort of shocking
Ouch! That sounds painful, but at least you know what did it. I haven't got a clue.
How do you avoid something you didn't know you did?!?

Re: Sort of shocking
To be a registered Chiropractor, one must undergo a certain amount of standard Medical schooling, so if competent, your Chiro should give sound advice. However, a second opinion is NEVER a bad idea.
Whatever you do, you have our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Re: Sort of shocking
We see a husband and wife team of chiropractors. They are very good. She caught me this week, because he was gone to MN, to visit his folks.
They have given us both excellent care in the past, and he just referred Mike to our MD, to try a course of prednisone and muscle relaxants for his latest back glitch, which was a nearly-healed injury that he re-injured. The MD basically just listened to the chiro's recommendation and wrote the script, without further examination. I took that as a sign of confidence in our chiro.
I read up on this injury last night...it is typical in adolescent males, especially those engaged in repetitive sports motions. I need to ask more specifics on what the timing of this break might be. I haven't been training enough to get that much stress from TKD, I think. Might have been digging in the garden, too. You never know....
