Think alike?
Do you and your DH sometimes think alike? We do, but sometimes I see differant ways of doing things!!! (Venus vs. Mars)!
This morning, I called him about selling grain...he had already done that this morning. Of course there are other things which to me is weird how we can think alike. But then there was moving cows yesterday! Boy O Boy did that not go his way. I do not get into yelling matches with anyone and I did not, but I think he was fighting himself. There were three of us helping.. you know the deal - four minds all thinking differantly and he thinks we can read his mind...

Re: Think alike?
Yes.. working livestock seems to make them think we have ESP.. LOL.
Occasionally we think alike but more often we are worlds apart on things. However, I can usually guess what he might be thinking, it just isn't something that was first & foremost in my mind.

Re: Think alike?
This morning, for instance, Mike announced that he had decided to start cutting paddocks on his place in exactly the opposite order he had told me he would last night. I had ventured the opinion that I would get the empty one across the lane from where the cows are now done first, rather than starting where they are now.
His mind was made up...it's his place and his chore, so I dropped it, no matter how bass-ackwards it seemed to me. This morning, total turnaround...but it was totally his idea. I have learned to just nod and say, " Great, Honey!"
He has a problem with the new-to-us baler. i called the dealer, got him on touch with technician. He is waiting until he is ready to bale again to call. I suggested he might want to take ab hour to hook up the tractor, call him, and if parts or a tech call needed, that could be in the works ahead of time. Waiting for him to decide that is his good idea, too.
We are having some nights apart right now, while he is slaving away on Va hay, I have Winn three mornings, too early to travel back from there. I thought that might bother me, but it is actually a nice break in a way...we talk better the nights we are together, whether there or here.
Really, I am so exhausted right now, I am not much company, and neither is he. Throwing in the new tental tenant at the store - getting leases straight, then moving our my junk this Friday - is one more thing to stir up the soup right now. He is all about getting this done, but has " hay brain" again...what caused the triuble between us last week...so, I am waiting for the light bulb to come on above his noggin.
Maybe we think alike in the final analysis, but we take a very varied path arriving there.

Re: Think alike?
We will never think alike but the ESP is there. Last night I was mowing and had stopped to pull some weeds. I had too many and sat there debating on whether to take the time to drive to the burn pile with the weeds as I wanted to get as much done before dark as I could. I looked up and there was DH checking on me and he took the trash for me. Today I was again mowing and DH was gone. Suddenly the mower quit and I looked down and the gas was gone. I sat there wondering how I was going to get to the where the gas is stored and get it in the tank. Then DH was yelling at me to see what was wrong since I had my head on the steering wheel thinking. This happens often.

Re: Think alike?
It does sound like you had him concerned with that head down thing...it would look like something is really wrong with you to me.
I had to tolerate the "It must be you!" MAN thing in Virginia yesterday, I had scads of yardwork and a whole day to stay without being rushed way. I had to help Mike in and out of gates a few times, thanks to the mules and the horse with the trick knee on the paddock he was mowing.
Scooted down and back on the Mule, had my virgin voyage on his nice zero-turn mower. That second one was dicey for a minute or two, because this one is jerkier than my Grasshopper, but I did get both yards done nicely.
I even pruned back the limbs he's been complaining about hitting him while mowing for a year or so. Sprayed a couple of backpacks of Roundup around sheds and rock borders, etc.
When I went to start my little Kubota to scoop and move mulch, it wouldn't turn over. Tried but just could not start.
I finally gave up and texted him, so had to go and bring him back on the Mule, and the damned thing cranked right up for him. Took him back to the tractor, and got most of my work done.
LAST rosebush, it crapped out, way across the yard from where I wanted to finish. He acted like I was a real bother, when he came in and I called fomr the porch, where I was enjoying a cold cherry cider, but it didn't start for him that time, either.
Turned out the battery cable was very corroded, and the battery was seven years old. I was given a reprieve from sitting in the corner with a dunce hat on...this time!
