need Valentine help

Ok, this guy that I have been seeing for a few weeks, I know darn well he will get me a valentine gift.   so, what is appropriate to give him....I really can't think of something.

This early in your relationship I would say the smallest box of the highest quality chocolate/candy you can find and a funny/lighthearted card.

The card and chocolate suggestion sounds good.  There are some truly cute and funny cards out there these days. 

My first thought was that if you are a baker, you might make a plate of chcolate chip cookies, or some other specialty you know he likes.  Not all that different from the candy idea, nutritionally, but maybe a tad more personal.

Almost certainly no gift,  most certainly a card, As you know the fella somewhat, gauge what kind of card to send,

After I said "cookies", I thought about the big heart-shaped cookie pan in my baking cabinet.  That makes it more Valentine's special, doesn't it?  You can even decorate those. 

Also, cupcakes are a real rage right now.  A really special cupcake is considered a very personal treat.
